Fall Fundraising Campaign October 1-31

Our goal: $10,000 by October 31. Become a Donor!

Ten Reasons to Donate $10 to Dalmatian Rescue of Illinois

Lila

1. All work is done by a small group of experienced and dedicated volunteers.

2. We take in dogs from shelters where they have run out of time and from owners who can no longer keep them.

3. We take in dogs of all ages, and those with heartworm, disabilities, and injuries.

Frankie

4. All dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and receive all the veterinary care that they need.

5. All dogs are kept in foster homes, where they are fed, walked, trained, played with, cuddled, and loved.

6. We screen prospective adopters carefully.

Bingo

7. We match dogs with families that are best for each dog.

8. If adoptions do not work out, we take dogs back at any time, for any reason.

9. We share the latest information on canine care and training with our adopters and the general public.

Brianna

10. We care deeply about the welfare of our canine companions and believe that they deserve the very best.

Follow us on Facebook this month for:

  • Five special stories and albums: Lila, Frankie, Bingo, Brianna, and Six Puppies
  • Thirty-one great books to include in your canine library
  • Ten of our favorite quotations, illustrated with photos from our archives
  • Four more photos from our collection of Spotted Love from the Past
  • More information about what we do, how we do it, and why we do it!

I am looking for a good home for my 7 yr old female dalmatian. Im having a hard time finding a home for her. She does have one medical problem (not why we are trying to find a home) but our vet says as long as she has her meds she should be ok. If you are interested please let me know. I posted a comment earlier on here but now do not see it. [email protected]

I just donated $100.00 also for a great cause and great group of people, many whom I have gotten to know this year. Their dedication is amazing and the dogs they save and place is deserving of a gold medal. Since I was a little girls I have always loved this breed of dog. Hats off to all of you.

Thank you, Cynthia! I appreciate your support and participation! You might consider supporting the LUA project and buy one of their puppies someday. A worthy cause to support! This is what I will do if I ever want to start over again with a puppy. Some of the breeders in this project are in California. http://www.luadalmatians.com/index.html
