Are you sure that you know what a Dalmatian looks like? Not all of them have black spots, brown eyes, and short coats!
Painful Decisions

Why Dalmatians End Up in Rescue
Are Dalmatians given up because they are hyperactive, deaf, or aggressive? The real reasons may surprise you.

Today we had to euthanize our Dalmation Haley, she was 13 years old and we enjoyed many years with her. I see you have a dog for adoption, Maribel. I also have a 5 month old Alaskan Malamute pup. Is Maribel good with other dogs and small kids? I have four grandchildren ages 8 months to 6 years. I would like to know more about Maribel. We live in Genoa IL. close to Dekalb and have a yard that is close to one acre, all fenced in.
You can contact me by the email address above.
I am interested in becoming a Dalmatian Mom. I don’t have one picked out yet, but my choice would be female, medium size, house broken and special needs is a choice also. (Dalmatian) I am a retired nurse, and husband is also retired. We have no children, but do have one cat. Please contact me at above e-mail address.
Thanks.
A male would also be fine.
Happy Holidays to all, especially to Susan and all the volunteers at Dal Rescue Illinois. Today, December 24, 2013, we celebrate another Christmas birthday with our adopted Dal, Zach. Each year we recall with laughter that Christmas Eve day in 2005. We had packed up and drove to DeKalb. After a short visit with Susan, we bundled Zach and his toys into the station wagon. Zach was ready to go to his new home. But the afternoon was getting late, and as we drove back, it started to snow, more and more and more. Like something out of a holiday tale.
